Missing Children

Question

My sims had divorced and the 3 children stayed with the father.&nbsp; While I was briefly playing the mother's household the father was killed off via Neighborhood Stories and their house is now empty.&nbsp; The children still show on the mother's family tree but they have disappeared from her friends list and from the group she led for her family members.&nbsp; They're not in any of the other existing households, although they still have a Sim ID.&nbsp; Is there any way (cheat, mod or otherwise) that I can get them back to live with their mother?

PS I tried to load an older save to get them back that way but it was no longer possible unfortunately

@smutchness  No, there's no other way than a backup because Babies, toddlers and children are removed by the game when they have no adult in the household.

It's too late now, but MC Command Center will put the children and pets in the surviving parent's household. Something to consider for the future...
