Mod addiction....

I have a terrible mod addiction (mostly because mods are made by players who kind of have an idea about what players want). That being said, I was wondering if anyone has a good way to check to see if I have more than one mod doing the same thing. I read descriptions, watch videos etc. to try to curb this side effect but more assurance would be great.
