Usually, when a girl child inherits some of their father's genes they tend to look uglier and vice versa... That's why I usually tend to swap my sims' genders in CAS so that I can see what male facial features look good on women and what female facial features look good on men.
I've tried to look for a mod for that as well but I'm not so sure there's any...
