Mod Help
Hi. So i switched from mac to windows due to the amount of mods/cc i have. everything transferred smoothly, however, windows is having a fit over my cc. i use MCCC command center to help find broken ...
@baybayb51200 You said you the game still thinks the broken Mods/CC is there after it was removed, did you also delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder? I'm wondering if your game is still seeing cached files from the broken content.
Yes i have tried that also. i followed all the steps that i could find on google, including repairing/reinstalling the game.
@baybayb51200 Did you try via the 50/50 method as mentioned above, or did you remove just the Mods/CC flagged by MCCC? Sorry, perhaps I'm not understanding correctly?
You said that if you removed all of the localthumbcache.package file that the game does open correctly?
i tried just removing the ones flagged first, then it still flagged the same mod after it was deleted. so i deleted the localthumbcache.package. still wouldn’t work, so then i tried the 50/50. should i delete the localthumbcache.package and then do 50/50?
the game only ran smoothly when all of the mods were removed.
@baybayb51200 You should delete the localthumbcache.package file before re-opening the game after each time you remove any of the Mods/CC.
