[MOD RELATED] Actor Career checklist not progressing (v.1.81)

im having issues with the acting career. v.1.81 of the game (latest update)

so the problem im encountering is with the checklist after you sim goes to the gig and recives the part in the commercial/film/show.

when my sim arrives to start filming none of the tasks on the checklist register rendering the entire career broken as i cant progress.

i have repaired the game twice, have my mods upto date and dealt with any conflicting mods. i even tried booting the game without my mods and i still encounter the issue. is this something that happened on the latest update or is there a fix/workaround that will get the checklist functional again.

ive tried asking on reddit to no avail, this is my last hope ☹️

EDIT:

found the issue. was a mod so old i forgot i had it. if you encounter this same issue look for the mod "acting career gig booster" it is completely broken. once removed the checklist registers when you do a task thus fixing it 🙂
