Hi. I have played The Sims on my laptop using only EA for around half a year now, and I recently got mods. After downloading too many, I got the error of not being able to save or build because game loading was in process, but I ended up fixing that after deleting all of my mods. I recently got new mods and made sure they are all updated, but I cannot load into the actual game for the following reason:
The game failed to load. Error Code:
135:eaddea49:25ff35d1. It is recommended that you relaunch the game.
I have tried almost everything; but I only play using Steam and EA.
All the best,
Harvey.

This means organizing the files there into bite-size batches and testing one batch at a time. For each test, delete the file called localthumbcache, then put only that batch in Mods. If your game opens, set that batch aside as "cleared" and delete localthumbcache again. If it doesn't open, take out half the batch and see if you're closer to finding the culprit. Remember to delete localthumbcache each time.
You'll find some 50-50 method tutorials online too. Once you isolate the file, you can go to Curseforge or the modder's own site (usually Patreon, Mod the Sims, or Tumblr, but some modders have a "home" elsewhere) to find out if there's an updated version. If there isn't, there may be another, more recent mod somewhere that will do the same thing.
