[MOD RELATED] Males Are Missing!

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

Also try repairing the game through Origin

Someone in the German Forum was able to fix it with this

@Asimplelife4Uwrote:
I am also having this problem. And I've removed my mods and restarted and they are still missing. Please help.

If you saved the game with males missing, they won't come back

Try a backup: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/save-games/

It's MCCC

A certain module that shall not be named here :D

Hello everybody and fellow simmers,

It's now 2017 and a new patch has just been released. ( The patch / update that adds toddlers into the main game ) Only since I just launched the game today, my households seemed all to be intact. I started to play the sim I last played a few days ago. ( I saved that sim before the update, so I have a backup if needed ) When I launched the household and clicked on my sim, he couldn't knock on the neighbors door, and was stuck inside their house. Other sims from different households couldn't interact with other sims or objects. Many, many sims seemed to have dissapeared. ( Strange thing is, most male sims dissapeared. I don't get why them, but it happened. ) There profile pictures were still in the relationship panel, but a few minutes later, in a different household, their profile pictures were gone, like no one knows them. Almost half of my sims are gone now, and I don't know why and how. It's strange that it immediately happened after the update, and not before. I'm hoping to find a solution for this, but I don't know if there is. It could be mods, it could be the update. I have no clue.

Anyway thanks for reading and sorting this problem out.

Cheers and happy simming

It's mods

@bas980

Try a factory reset and load a backup. Instructions for both given above

Hi there, so I got the new Toddlers update which I was super happy about.

However, when I got into the Game I noticed two issues:

1. No matter what I did, my toddlers are stuck with brown eyes in CAS. I've removed my eye related CC and its not helped at all. I even tried toggling the face and selecting a default that shows different coloured eyes but that hasn't helped either.
2. The male portions of all the families I had in my game have all disappeared and I have no idea how to fix this. When I started playing the game with a new family, I found I only had access in the hot bar to the mother of the family and the father and son were not registered.

If anyone has any information as to how these can be resolved I'd deeply appreciate it!
