Update: Tried to disable mods, remove them from my folder and restart the game and still see the rental type as blank. Also might just be confused, but I'm seeing a lot of people posting new lots in the gallery saying it's rental type but the gallery says it's residential?? Honestly don't know what's going on.
You could try and repair you game from Origin. You could aslo try and remove the Resource.cfg file from the mods folder. Don't know if that would do anything but it helped fix my mods not loading from the October update.
If that doesn't work then this might just be a bug. Hopefully, in that case, they fix it soon.
