EXPANSIONS: get famous, cats and dogs, get together, get to work GAME PACKS: parenthood, vampires, dine out, spa day STUFF PACKS: my first pet stuff, laundry day, toddler stuff, fitness stuff, vintage glamour stuff, backyard stuff, kids room stuff, romantic garden, movie hangout & cool kitchen
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have researched most of the forums, perused youtube, uninstalled and reinstalled game, got rid of & replaced save files, disabled/ cleared out all mods/ cc
What happens when the bug occurs? Every time the game loads all sims have disappeared from my game. Households appear on the world map and in the gallery, but are unable to play. Total sim count in my world comes up as 0.
What do you expect to see? Playable households
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
Not sure if this is or is not a result of the last patch update, but all of my sims have completely disappeared from my game files. Households appear in world view and in the gallery, but they're unplayable and do not load when clicked on?
Also the total sim count of my game is now 0, which is foreboding - even though the households are clearly there.
I have tried everything; disabling mods, CC, uninstalling the game and then reinstalling and inputting the save files again. Nothing works.
Am at my wits end trying to figure out what's going on

I did, unfortunately, save my game. I have a few back-ups, but we'll have to see how much of the present I have to rewrite
