The whole process deleted game, saves, mods, the mod folder would not delete even though nothing showed in it. I moved the mod folder to the desktop and that did the trick. There were files in that folder that were hidden.

I tried you steps and they worked! But it also deleted all my cc, lucky I have all my cc in a folder. I tried adding the cc to the folder called" The sims 4 old" but it didn't work. I have used cc for a long time, ( Yes mods are enabled) 😢

So the game works unless you introduce your Mods folder? In that case, you have incompatible mods in that folder, and you will be able to fix your game by finding the faulty mods 🙂

is there a faster way to find bad cc i have a mod conflict detecter but it takes hours.
Move all the CC out of your Mods folder then back in in small batches, testing the game to see if it launches after adding each batch. When it stops working you know you have incompatible CC in that batch.

Hello I have a question I use the same mods as youtubers and a mod as an example that works fine for everyone is the Sims 4 Pose Player mod. But when I put in simple mods that work my game still doesn't work. Mods worked on my old PC easy so I know these mods should work but don't. Mods make my sims 4 experience better and without mods, I would've left the Sims community a long time ago please help me.
what is the origin of the game suppost to be tho???? becuase i dont have any mods or cc or anything and it says the same what am i supposed to do??
