@gloomnymph Are you sure that you have done the factory reset correctly? This is how it should be done:
1. Move the entire TS4 game folder from the Documents / Electronics Arts folder to your computer desktop.
2. Then fix the game on Origin
Origin My Game Library - Right-click on the game cover and choose the option "Repair". You have to wait until Origin checks all add-ons
ATTENTION! (However, if you bought the game on Steam, you fix it on Steam
Log in to Steam, go to the game library, then right-click on the cover of The Sims 4 game and select "Properties" from the menu, then click on the "Local files" tab and then on "Check the consistency of game files .."
3. Launch the game to create a new The Sims 4 folder in Documents.
Start a new game with any sim and check if you still have these bugs
4. If the bug disappears, exit the game and delete the following folders from the newly created TS4 folder in Documents: Saves and Tray.
5. Then copy your old Saves folder from the desktop and paste it into this new game folder.
Do it yourself with the Tray folder - this is your library - and if you have such a TrayDeleteItems file in your old desktop folder, paste it into the new game folder as well.
6. Start the game and check if the error disappears in the old safe. However, if you had any CC facilities in your homes, your old safe might have broken.
