MODS AND CC GONE

HELLPPPPP PLEEEEEASE

So my game was not starting up because there was a “corrupt” CC file and I deleted the file but it still wasn’t loading. So I moved my Mods folder to my desktop not realizing that I was supposed to make a NEW folder and moved the mods and cc into that temp folder NOT the Mods folder in the Sims4 folder….. so now when I put the Mods folder back into the sims 4 folder and opened the game, my sims house was bare bones EMPTY!!! I exited the game and looked in the folder to find that ALL of the mods & CC files have completely empty

is there ANY WAY to recover all of my mods and cc and.

to go back to my game before the house was emptied so I just trash the most recent save slot???

    Regarding your lost mod files:
Are you using cloud storage, like OneDrive, if you're on Windows or iCloud, if you're on MAC?
Have you checked your desktop recycle bin?

Do you have a backup of your game data?

    Regarding the mod functionality:
Check whether both "Enable custom content and mods" and "Script mods allowed" settings in Game Options/Others are enabled.

    Regarding rolling back saves:

Do not randomly delete files from your saves folder!

Note, that your mods aren't a part of the games save files. The game always looks for them in the Mods folder. If that folder is empty or doesn't contain the respective mods, they also won't appear in your game.

Follow the steps below to recover a previous save. You can choose from the last 5 saves you made. If you're looking for an older savegame, you have to rely on your backups.

    1. Go to the game's main menu
    2. Click on "Load Game".
    3. Click on the save you would like to rollback.
    4. Click on the floppy disk icon with the backward arrow  on it then select the time you'd like to recover to
    5. Select the "Recover" option.
    6. After a few seconds, your new recovered save will appear, with the same name as the old save, just with [Recovered] after it.
    7. Load it, and check whether it's the game state you're expecting.
