The Sims TeamI was also having the same problem on my MacBook but I believe I found the issue! Before I started having the problem, I noticed that when using one of my breast sliders, if I moved the slider too far in the character would disappear—even my female sims.
I followed @crinrict instructions and while putting my mods back in by folder, I discovered that removing one of my breast sliders (B.C_Breast.package) fixed the issue of my male sims being invisible. I saw a thread on reddit and it seems like other users are having the same problem but removing various slider mods fixed it. Try going through them a few at a time to see which one is causing the issue!
I removed that slider as well and the male sims are now showing up again.
