Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I open the game. On the startup page, I press on the gallery and it opens some weird symbols where the buttons to access the gallery features are.

I don't believe the issue comes from custom content. This bug started on the 31st of April when the gallery was under maintenance. I thought it was normal because the gallery wasn't working in general, but when it was fixed, I still had the same issue. I deleted all custom content that I had downloaded on the 31st of April and onwards, yet the issue remained the same. Before that date, I never had any problems with my custom content, but even so, I deleted most of it and redownloaded + repaired the game, yet still nothing. PLEASE help me!! When playing the game, I mostly use CAS, and now not only can I not access my household, they're all deleted too 😭😭😭
Just in case this is helpful, I had the same issue. Updated King Zace's 15 clubs mod and Weerbesu's UI mods, as well as the more traits in CAS mod by two modders I can't remember the name of right now. They're well known enough that it should ring some bells. I'm not sure which of those it was, but it appears to be fixed.
