Mod downloads,
I recently starting using curse forge to download new mods they were working but recently stopped.
I contacted them and they told me it could be my game. I tried redownloading the game but nothing changed even my game was still there it didnt get reset. Was I hacked? what do I do next?
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi @QueenSims1979. Unfortunately, you might have some mods that aren't compatible with the current version of the game. But there can be other things that go wrong too.
If ALL your mods and CC aren't working, check your Sims 4 Settings under "Other". You might just need to re-enable them.
If you moved a Curseforge-managed mod to a folder, Curseforge might have redownloaded it: it doesn't see folders right. So you end up with duplicates. You can check for duplicates.
Another is that you might have mods that have multiple versions and you need to pick one of them. Usually it says that on the mod page, so you can check the page for instructions. You'll also find instructions there for whan a mod needs another mod to make it work. You might be missing those. And you should see instructions for mods that conflict with other mods.
Hopefully, those things help and you don't have to run a full test on which mods aren't compatible anymore!
