mods not showing up in mods list

So I used to use Bootcamp on my Mac and play the Sims on the Windows side. I recently switched over to the iOS side to make room for other games that are Windows-only (making sure to delete my Electronic Arts folder on the Windows side since that caused mod issues in the past when I had the EA folder on both the iOS and Windows side accidentally), but ever since then, I haven't been able to get my mods to work. I tried "fixing" the game, reinstalling the game, deleting all Sims 4 files on the Windows side (even the ones that were just mods), taking out my mods and putting them back in my folder, deleting cache, taking the EA folder out of iCloud, triple checking that all my files are unzipped - every piece of advice that I've been able to find.

I'm not sure what else to do. I have the resource.cfg file, so I know it's not that, and I reinstalled the game today, so it's not like there's any new update that made them not work. I have mods turned on - both script and CC, and still... You'd think if it was a problem with the mod itself, I'd have at least one of my mods show up, but I've got nothing.

I'm not sure what else to do - if anyone has any advice, that'd be great.

  • @charliejb920 Have you tried downloading and using any new mods or CC to see if they work properly in your game? Or even doing a fresh download of some of your older mods/CC? (If you try this, make sure you don't have duplicates of the same file, i.e. a new version along with one of your old versions).

This might tell you whether the problem is in your game or if it's something to do with your old .package or .ts4script files.
