Ask the site you download from why they changed the icon.
@Laraliehsha @jpkarlsen The symbol means OneDrive is in the process of syncing the files, not finished (check mark) or unable to sync (red X). Do you have any use for OneDrive? Either way, you may want to change its settings so it doesn't interfere with your mods or other Sims 4 data. Please see the first post of this thread for more help:

Please also let us know whether you can play now that you've deleted the mods mentioned in the error message.
hello, thank you for the advice. turns out my one drive had expired and i hadn’t noticed!!
@Laraliehsha Thanks for letting us know. If you'd like to keep OneDrive from touching your Sims 4 files, or get rid of it entirely, here's a guide with a few options:

Otherwise, just make sure you have enough free space in cloud storage for your Sims 4 data, and that the data is actually getting backed up.
