Mods/CC Issues - Game Not Picking Up Mods Or CC

Hey Simmers!

I have been having some issue with my mods and CC for quite sometime. And I have tried so many things to fix it:

1. I have deleted all my mods and CC and redownloaded some;

2. I have deleted my Sims game with all the add-on content and redownloaded everything in hopes that that would help;

3. I have deleted the localthumbcache.package file;

4. None of the mods are in zipped folders;

5. I have ensured that my mods folder has the Resource.cfg file;

6. My game is up-to date;

7. When I enable mods in-game, it gives me the normal message that I need to restart the game to give effect to these changes which I do but.... alas ... nothing.

While in options, it seems as though the game is not picking up any script mods or CC because I cannot even see them in the list within the Options - Other folder ☹️

Is anyone else having the same problem? Does anyone know how to fix this? ☹️
