more off the grid lot traits

Sorry, I don't! You could mimic it by using Off-the-Grid but adding enough tech to supply either water or power consistently, though. 

Because of how this challenge works, I don't believe this is possible. It turns off both Power and Water as utilities, but it tells any and all objects that use either utility that they now need to follow the off-the-grid rules. While the utilities are separate, the "You gotta follow these new rules" tuning is basically "one thing" that can't really be split apart.

Your best bet would be to add items like Luth said, and turn off selling the excess so you don't cheat your way into a bunch of money. Looking at how this trait works I can think of a few options to make something that just kinda does this automatically...but you'd still have to go in and toggle selling, so it's kinda pointless. 

there's a survey around and one of them is based on the 80/90's lifestyle pack and i added the idea you just shared 80/90's pack survey idea | EA Forums - 12116693 it mentioned disable digital stuff, i think it should be possible to add a new challenge with this pack idea i've just added as a feedback (water should work and making food too, just stuff like limited computer and TV use or completely disable it for examble)

we need more lot challenges in general to make our sim try to survive lives
