More students in high school mod stopped working

I play sims on mac and I had issues with my game often crashing when traveling. I googled what to do when having problems with crashing and found that ”clearing cache” could help. So not really knowing what it meant I did so and was first shocked when I opened my game and all my save files was gone (which is dumb looking back at it). But then I added my save files back from my old Sims 4 folder which I took out when clearing the cache if I remember correctly and I did the same thing with my mods. So now my save files and mods are back however it might have made my ”more students in high school mod”  stop working? Only one class shows up to school which I guess might be the amount of students that are originally in the high school pack? 12 it should be since I before had 24 students in my school. I’m not sure if it had to do with the clearing cache or if it’s something else. I tried redownloading the mod!
