Multiple sims pregnancy not progressing at all, no matter what i try. Need help!

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? m not sure but it seems to occur with other simers.
What happens when the bug occurs? Pregnancy is not developing between 3 of my sims who are pregnant. keeps saying eating for 2 without progressing onto next stage. Sims look heavily pregnant in game but not in menu and have been pregnant for a sims version of over a week. The sims that are pregnant cant have a science baby either.
What do you expect to see? i expect to see the pregnancy developing and babies arriving.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
