My Cat is Broken, This is Too Much BS

I have a ton of the DLC but only a few of them installed. No idea right now which ones are and which aren't. I'm on a PS4, no cheats, no mods.

My cat has gone haywire. Her icon is almost always orange now and I can't really stop it. IF it is because she's too stupid to find the food I can cook her something to eat. 'Call pet to eat' does not work with the cat bowl all of a sudden; she stands in front of it for hours and does nothing else. 'Call pet to eat' does at least work on cooked pet food. But I can't call her to use the litter box if that's her want (would like a fresh, clean litter box). 

Problem is, she does nothing but stand there in the spot where my Sims last interacted with her. Just really started today, was a little bit of a problem yesterday but today it's ridiculous. I can send a Sim to interact with her and they all work fine, but when the Sim walks away the cat stands there and looks around until such time as I send another Sim to interact with her or she runs away. This is beyond stupid, guys. After all this time you can't get your stuff together?

I mean for crying out loud, the gardening bug IS STILL THERE!!! MONTHS after it became useless to bother gardening you still haven't fixed THAT, and it's a core gameplay element! 

Now my cat is utterly nonfunctional unless interacting with my Sims. Unbelievable. Man, no freaking WAY am I spending cash on yet another pack/expansion/whatever; you can't fix what's been broken for almost a freaking YEAR and you want full price for another bunch of DLC that will only cause more BS. 

EA, get your collective crap together, get your collective butt in gear, and keep your freaking player base HAPPY or you'll have precious little interest in the Sims 5 when you drag that out of the broken games locker and try to make us buy it. >:[
