@myrdsiexy It's absolutely no bother. It's hard to say if it's only happening to you, as sometimes there are other factors that come into play on any particular lot, and perhaps they just didn't happen on mine... and maybe if I tested longer than 2 Sim days it may have begun to happen. That's why I asked some friends also, in case it's happening to them. Obviously something is happening in your game. Is your game updated? Can you include a screenshot of the area your Cowplant is in? I added a paragraph to my last post not thinking you already read it (oops) about the space requirements for a Cowplant, in case that is a factor? Please read the last part I added to that post also, just in case.
Do you have any Mods or CC?
the only options when I select:
I still have to see if it's the same when it grows, but apparently it is not a consequence of the mods

@myrdsiexy Thank you for sharing that screenshot. When it's selected like that, if you press delete does it go to the Household Inventory... or what happens? When you tried without Mods do you also remove the cache file as follows?
SpoilerTry moving the Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring. You can test without saving in order to identify which CC/Mods are causing the issue, then remove or add updated version(s) of the Mod/CC causing the issue- 4 years ago@SheriGR I didn't remove the cache file, so I'll try that as soon as possible. And when I try pressing delete, the cowplant dissappears and I get the money I would have if I sold it

@myrdsiexy I look forward to hearing the results with the Mods and cache all removed. Thank you!
A few of other clarifications...
- Is the plant in the screenshot on an owned lot (a Sim owns it currently)? You cannot move anything into Household Inventory if the house/lot is not owned by a Sim. Even if the lot is not owned, though, selecting it should show the sell option, which appears to be greyed out in your screenshot. So this seems suspicious to me.
- If you select other plants (Plants you grow, not decorative ones) are you able to move these to Household inventory in the normal manner? (For expediency of testing, I also have other plants in the gallery if you want to use any of them to test, if you don't have any on your lot already.)
- Does this happen on other lots, other game saves?
