My game is ruined! Please help!!
My sims 4 game is ruined. I just updated after not playing for almost a year. Now 6 years of gameplay has vanished without a trace. I have saved, but they don’t show up as load game at the beginning. I tried a fix, but it’s not working! My mods are not showing up at the startup. I have tried everything and nothing so working! I have had this issue for a month now and I don’t know what to do! Two days ago, I created 2 new sims, but realized no mods would show up after enabling them. I have repaired the game and removed mods folder. After I removed the mods folder, no new folder would regenerate! Please help!!!
@Sheda1987 It sounds like you're not working with the folder Sims 4 is reading. Here's how to find that folder:

For your saves, check the same Sims 4 folder where you removed the Mods folder. If you see any saves there, move them to the folder the game is reading.
You can also check OneDrive for any Sims 4 content. If nothing turns up, search your computer: open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, then enter Slot_ in the search field in the upper-right corner. If you find any saves in either location, move them back to the folder the game is reading.
