My game keeps crashing after Update 3/6/2024 (6th of March)

Hey Simmers,

So after updating my game with the latest update, and also after downloading werewolves (which I did at the same time). My game has taken to crashing at seemingly random times. I've deleted all script mods but that doesn't seem to healp. I'm loathed to take out my other mods as I doubt they're the issue, but I will if I need to. I have also tried "repairing" my game which did nothing.

The game will crash at seemingly random times, usually when the game is trying to load something new, but not always near the beginning of the game. Sometimes I'll open the game and try to open CAS or a save file and it'll crash, sometimes I'll get into a save file but if I open CAS or try to build and buy or try to travel the game will crash, sometimes I'll try to open the gallery and the game will crash. It's not yet happened mid game, always in some kind of transition. 

I am running the sims on a fairly old laptop, but this has NEVER been an issue before, I've cleared up a lot of storage and got an external hardrive, and whilst the game often plays a little slowly, I've never had problems with it crashing before.

Any tips appreciated, I'm guessing it's got something to do with the patch as I've heard it's buggy, but if anyone could help I'd appreciate it. I just wanna appreciate my werewolves 😭
