My game keeps freezing Sims 4 on laptop

I have the latest version of the sims . I have CAS which are downloaded off curseforge. Whenever i go into my newest game save, my game freezes whenever i go to load a house from gallery. Its no the house as ive tried multiple different ones from different creators. It takes around 5 minutes to load the house if it does even load. When the house finally loads, if it does, it doesnt let me delete anything from the house or bring anything into the build. I have to restart my entire laptop to get onto the EA main menu as when my house isnt loading it doesnt let me exit the game.

On the previous game same from that one, it is extremely lagged and cancels things when i ask my sims to do something. E.g. programming on their computer i ave to get them to sit first and then try multiple times before they finally do it.

I am nervous to go onto my other game saves as i have a game save which i have played on for a while now (legacy challenge) and i wouldnt want to lose it. 

I have spent a lot of money on this game and i really hope they can fix this as it would be a massive shame if they cant. 

Thank you sims for making this game but if this isnt fixed then i dont think i will be able to play.
