My mods folder completely disappeared after update??!

@vampyxangel - Another thing to note, If you didn't/don't already have it, I would recommend getting Tmex's Better Exceptions. When an update happens, it can scan for, and identify, broken mods and direct you to updates for those mods when they release. It makes patch days a good bit less painful by tracking mod updates, conflicts and errors for you. Also, again, be sure to create a backup of your mods folder once you're back up and running.
