I was playing one of the scenarios before updating my game. When I tried to resume playing with the household I was doing the scenario with, I saw that my sim had been deleted from the save. Unfortunately, I didn't save the household to my library or backed up my files, so my sim and all my progress are gone.
I think there's an issue with the update in general. I have read a few other posts about the update messing up the game. For me personally, it messed up my cc. They need to fix it A.S.A.P.
@pazpacintosh Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
