    okay so after a night 0f 50/50-ing 157GB of mods, i realised it was an issue with mc tuner blocking a specific mid-cooking action. i think i may have disabled it in the past to fix the issue of nanny sims compulsively cooking and baking 24/7 and leaving massive wedding cakes and baked goods all over the kitchen. so while i've solved this issue, im now left with another one lol. sorry for the false alarm

@2005051212052005 Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.
