My sims 4 won’t allow me to click or use phone

My game has been really buggy lately and I can’t seem to figure out why my phone isn’t working, it just happened recently. My phone has little visibility for some reason and I tried looking up for help but couldn’t find answers. The notes and calendar work fine but the phone is the only thing not working.
