my sims can't sit to a table (cc)

@hiranurtekinsems  It's possible that the patch broke your cc tables.  I'd first test by placing new tables in an existing save and seeing whether your sims can use them, just in case it's something simple like they need to be picked up and placed elsewhere.

If that doesn't help though, the tables may be broken, and you'll need to wait for the creator(s) to update them.

My sims wont sit anywhere at all! Not even just CC items. I also cant place anything from build/buy mode. Completely deleted and re-downloaded everything and still having this issue! Wasted like 4 hours doing this and only just finding out its an issue with the update! 

I’m having the same issue. The original stuff works but no custom content dining tables, desk or kitchen island. They do the hand waving when they can’t find a path using CC. Again original stuff works. I even placed a table outside where nothing possibly could block the path and still got the hand waving.

I took out everything from the last time I knew everything was working. I noticed that the sims had started standing to ear. Wouldn’t use the computer either. I thought try seeing if they could sit at an island and that didn’t work.

CC living room and bedroom furniture works fine.

I’ve been placing CC in one at a time and none of the surfaces you sit at are working. 

It’s going to be a lot of creators with a problem from what’s not working in my game

**I did the 50/50 thing to find the cc culprit and there isn’t one. I had all cc out and just put in different cc dining table and chairs and still had the problem with it being the only cc in the game 

hi!! ive figured out a solution but you would have to install sims 4 studio to fix it !! you need to batch fix your mods folder with sims4studio!!**

1. download s4s

2. install it and click 'content management'

3. click on 'batch fixes', then 'objects'

4. first, click on ''fix dining tables and chairs..'' and run it in the corret folders until its completed

5. next, click on 'fix chairs (march 2021) and run

6. load up your game and go sicko mode with chairs <3

** its worth mentioning that among this batch fix - there are several other fixes, i highly reccommend going through the list below incase you have any other weird things happening to your game!!

• Disallow CC for random* – CC will not be used on townies, or game generated sims.
• Disallow CC for aliens* – CC will not be available for Aliens in CAS.
• Allow CC for aliens* – CC will be available for Aliens in CAS.
• Disallow CC for Default*** – This fixes any CC item stuck on your sim in their “nude” outfit.
• Disallow CC for shower*** – This fixes any CC items stuck on your sim in the shower. If this is a problem, and this batch fix does not fix it.
• Update CC for all genders* – This will allow male to use female clothes and vice versa.
• Allow CC for random* – CC will be used on all townies, or game generated sims.
• Fix male missing mesh*** – This fixes the underwear/swimsuit bottoms that may be invisible.
• Fix underwear tags*** – Some undergarmets are not tagged as underwear, this will fix that.
• Disallow CC for Vampires* – CC will not be available for Vampires in CAS.
• Allow CC for Vampires* – CC will be available for Vampires in CAS.
• Fix swimwear bottom tags*** – Some swimwear are not tagged as swimwear this will fix that.
• Update CAS CC Pets Patch** – Fixes bugs caused by Pets that alter your custom content.
• Fix Cats & Dogs Patch Glass Hair** – Fixes the glass hair bug, caused by the pets patch.
• Seasons basic batch fix** – Adds the hot/cold tag to all CC, with the seasons patch

@thotaroo I tried this and it didnt fix the issue .. my sims will not sit, not lay on any furniture and will not use the computer .. I am at a complete loss of what to do
