My sims is not working. i tried disabling my mods and turning it back on and it works for a bit a solution but then it starts lagging again and the sims do not move or go anywhere showing me the footsteps with the big x. what do i do?
@malak06 Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Delete food created by mods.
Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. This will help with determining if you problem is mod-related. It does sound like outdated or wrongly installed mods are a possible cause.
