My sims never return home from work. (Possible bug?)

I'm not sure if this counts as a bug or if I'm just doing something wrong so I didn't fling it into the bugs section.  Is anyone else having an issue where their sims go to work and then never stop ...

This is totally my bad but I realised it might actually be some of my CC causing this issue! I'm just going to comb through my folder and hope that it'll resolve the issue 🙂

I play on console, no cheats, and this happens to me from time to time. Usually, saving and then restarting the game fixes the issue. If I don't feel like restarting the game, playing a different household and then returning back to the problem household, also fixes this issue for me.
