My sims stand there and do nothing.

Hi, I am a Mac player of Sims and Ive had this issue for about two days now where my sims just stand there and do nothing. However, I can make them walk other places, sleep, shower, etc, but got some reason they refuse to cook. 

I have tried everything removed my mods, removed cache file, repaired game from origin, 50/50 method, and I even deleted all my save files. Nothing works! I’m so confused, when I remove my mods from settings my game works normal. I really want to figure this out so help is very appreciated, thank you.

    I've had similar issue but more extreme they just stand there and do nothing I can click at all the tasks and they appear on the task bar but they will simply not obey they are simply frozen in place. I have also cleared cache and restarted all of the necessary steps you take in this situation. 

    Let me know if anything changes with you..

    @kittycatmeow3030 Please try this:

    1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Make sure you're doing this with the folder the game sees.
    2. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
    3. Start with New to test if your issue recurs.

      If that works:
    4. Exit and copy files out of your old Saves folder into the new Saves folder. Important: Don't just copy the old folder! You want to use the newly created folders.
    5. Launch Sims 4 and use Load to select an older save to test.
