I am running the same error as well. I am able to launch my game and select which household I want to play. But it won't load in. my BE exception report shows this and I have no idea what this is.
The report does not show any broken mods or cc, just this.
I solved it! It's still throwing an exception here and there, but at least I can load the game and play no problem.
I had the exact same BE report - "drama_sequence" seems to refer to some career or event mods - in my case, I didn't spot that *one* of my many career mods was broken and needed updating - this was a gigs/odd jobs mod. Most career mods will have been fine after this update, so this was a hard one to spot. There was also a rogue .script mod that I didn't check for an update, so I just removed that one too.
Maybe if you want to narrow down which mod is causing this, have a look at any that affect odd jobs, events or gigs 🙂
