my stairs wont work

I downloaded the lot and tested the stairs. My test sim had no problem going up and down the stairs. I tried with the go here option and with telling them to get a drink of water in the master bath sink and to use the computer on the other side. No problems getting to anything. There is nothing that would cause a route fail that I could find. So, I'm not sure what you have going on.
If it still happens in your game, try this. Go to the Map and enter the lot in build mode. Save the lot to your library. Bulldoze the lot. Replace the lot with the copy from your library. Test to see if sims will use the stairs. If they do, then you're good to go. If not, come back and we can go from there.
Btw, I noticed that there are no toilets on the lot.

my sims wont go up the stairs i have tried everything. my house ha a open walk way between too wings of the house i attached the stairs to this walk way. but under no circumstance will my sims climb the stairs. even when i attach the stairs from outside to the second floor, even then will my sims refuse to go upstairs. when i give them a object to interact with upstairs they say there are no stairs what so ever. can u pleas help meee
