@Cookiecat02 I'd go into CAS and check the other Sim's preferences match the attraction type. If they don't, you can alter them to fit the situation you want.
If it's a Sim you didn't create, some of them aren't receptive to romance because they need to have preferences adjusted.

I made both of them, i just got into my game and adjusted it putting it to explore romantically but it seems to refresh after I save it and go back to my game
@Cookiecat02Do they both have high friendship levels and high romance bar? I'd max both as much as you can if not and keep trying. In the romantic interactions it would help if you can show us an image of what you are seeing. So another player can compare with their game. I don't have High School Years yet btw if you do have it, I'm adding it in a few weeks.
Yes, both bars are high and i have High School Years, I can try the images, my laptop does not like to cooperate with screenshots sometimes which is why I havent taken any but thank you for reminding me
