Hello, one of my vampire sims constantly goes to her vampire coffin and reads epitaph. Is it only happening in my game? I use only a few bug fix mods and no autonomous mods in my game. Her vampire husband doesn't do this.
@aodoherty None of my Vampires do this, but some of them do other weird things that I've never really figured out why. Maybe it has something to do with her traits, etc? There is one thing you can try with the MCCC/MC Tuner module that should prevent her from doing this behavior:
1) Click on your Sim, go into the MC Command Center > MC Tuner menu, and choose “Enable Autonomy Scan”
2) Click on the coffin and select "Autonomy Scan"
3) In the pop-up menu, click on any buttons that say [Read Epitaph] to change the autonomy setting. After you click the buttons, the "[]" brackets will go away, ie [Read Epitaph] will change to Read Epitaph without the brackets. This should disable autonomous Read Epitaph on that type of coffin.
4) When you are done, click on your Sim again, and select MC Command Center > MC Tuner > Disable Autonomy Scan.
You only ever have to do this with one Sim and one coffin of that type-- your settings are stored in the mc_tuner.cfg file. The settings you choose are automatically loaded every time you load your save. Unless you change it back, none of the Sims in your game should ever autonomously read the epitaphs on any coffin of that same type. You might have to repeat this process if you have several types of coffins on your lot. The autonomy settings are reversible in MC Tuner, so if you are not happy with the results, you can change the settings back to default any time you wish. Just repeat the steps from above.

Oh I apologize for the late reply. I’m sorry but I’m not using MCCC. But if there is only this way to stop her autonomy, then I can control not to do it myself. 🙂 Now she is turned back to the spellcaster, she doesn’t go down to read epitaph any more. But I’m also curious if any other simmers have the same issue as mine. 🙂
