Need Help with Healthcare Redux Mod

I decided to give this a go. I also decided to spice up my game a bit, by giving the mom appendicitis. Well, she got a moodlet that suggests she's really not feeling well and it would be a good idea to seek medical help. Problem is, I can't find any interactions to address this. I looked online and discovered there is an App (Appendingo) but nowhere does it explain where to find it. Other things show up, so I know the mod is installed. Please help. I really don't wish to use the mod cheat to remove emergency illness (or however it's worded). I have run through the phone categories, run through the mod interactions. I even tried finding something on my Sims' computer. Nothing. To my knowledge, none of the other mods I have should interfere.

Please help!
  • There should be a separate phone category labeled Adeepindigo. Under that it should have healthcare services and then that should give you some choices.

I haven't had appendicitis yet, but have had other things.

I'm having the same issue as op, and the app on the phone is nowhere to be seen. I have all the requirements and currently I'm trying to test if file placement is a factor.

  • Hello,
You probably need the file called “a deep indigo base general pie menu” to get the menu to show up on the phone. I don’t remember if this is automatically part of Healthcare Redux, it’s probably a separate download.

I love using Healthcare Redux and also Dental Care by adeepindigo, they are great mods. If you have any more questions or issues, I’ll try my best to help answer. I hope you have a lot of fun with the new mod.

Thank you, I shall check what I have, and then go in search of the likely missing part! You guys are great. :) I do have the moods package recommended but somehow failed or missed the general pie menu. :open_mouth: Thanks again!

Okay found the link and it's been popped into my Mods folder. I'm really excited now. I loved Private Practice, but grew tired of my family getting the flu too often. There's no way to treat his three Toddlers. And believe me having three sick kiddos will drive even the player over the edge. LOL

I am about to power up and see! Wish me luck! :)

ETA: At first I couldn't find the App. I got out of my game and took another look. Yes, it's in the folder with the rest of the mod. And it's a package, so no worries. Got back into the game scrolled slowly through the list of mods and saw it listed. Yay. Then clicked on the game where I was using it. Can I find that dern App anywhere — No. Then suddenly the open and closed circles on the bottom of the screen on the phone caught my eye. I clicked it an PRESTO, like magic there is was. Phew! I thought I was going to lose it (throw a hissy fit, that is). I'm writing this mostly for others who are struggling in the same way as I was. Now, to see what happens to my ill Sim.

@GalacticGal May I ask how you are finding the mod? You tell the best stories, so I’m eager to know how your experience was.

So far, so good. Giving Kayleigh appendicitis was my first time using it. Once I found the 'app' on her phone I was able to send her to the emergency room to get help. I was totally shocked when she arrived home, with Erik, to find her covered in purple circles all over her bare arms, just as the popup stated she died on the table during surgery due to Sepsis. Then, she promptly keeled over and Grimmie arrived. :open_mouth: Then I decided Aaron, Erik's older brother who still lives with them, would have an injury to see what happens with that. He's been rather sore, since he's bruised and battered (or however it's worded). He does play Soccer on a Major League, so it's fitting that sometimes, he might get hurt. I decided that was better than giving him a heart attack. But, so far it's rabbit holes. I'm liking it, though.

I like the idea that Erik could accompany Kayleigh, which being the type of husband he is, there's no way he would allow her to go alone.

Thank you so much, for the compliment on my stories. :)

That is the problem. There is nothing on the phone but what we normally have. I'm guessing I should uninstall and try again?
