I had the monitor fitness (both of them) enabled and it went and changed all the physiques of my Sims. I didn't want that! LOL, I just don't want the game changing them. What should I have enabled? Basically, I don't want the game making fat Sims (why does it always generate really obese Sims?). I also don't want the game changing the way my Sims look.

All of those log-file messages you were seeing were due to a debugging line I left in. I noticed last night (this morning) that I had done that and had uploaded a fix so if you re-download MC Cleaner, you won't get those messages any longer.
Yes. You type "get_pop" and it gives you the total number of Sims. Exactly like that mod did. There's just more details in the log file that you'll get with "get_pop" as well.
The way the "No Fit"/"No Fat" mod worked that you were using before just reverted back all physique values to what they were before EA's scripts changed them due to exercise or eating. Turning on Monitor Physique and setting the Male Fit to "0,0" and Male Fat to "0,0" and the same thing for Female Fit and Female Fat will do the same thing. Anytime the game tries to set the physique values to something other than "0", it will set them back to zero.
Note that neither the existing mod nor my Monitor Physique option will get rid of newly generated Sims that have beer-bellies on them. That's not a "Fit/Fat" setting, it is the way the Sim is created in CAS. Basically, what we can change is what you see when you create a new Sim and there are two gauges to the left of the Sim that you can slide-up and down for Muscles and Bulk (fatness). That's what we change. But, if you click on the Sim's stomach and you drag it out so the Sim looks fat, we have no control over that in the scripts.
This whole thing annoys me. I dislike having Sims generated by CAS that have a beer belly with a six-pack showing. To me, the stomach size should be related to Fit/Fat. But, I can't control that...yet.
