If I'm understanding you correctly (and it's possible I missed, looooong week here), I don't see why it wouldn't do those things now. But yeah, you should probably chat Deaderpool up yourself... it isn't like you don't know how to get there. :)
I thought you HAD this mod. What happened? (Just curious)
Oh btw since we're here anyway, here's what he said about why one setting for culling/pruning... makes sense to me, but what do I know?

I don't really see the reason to separate them. People that don't want culling basically tend to not want EA to do anything to delete Sims from their active families FOR SURE and neighborhood families secondly. Culling can delete both. Family Pruning is definitely something we don't want, so I think it makes sense to have one setting just turn it all off...
