I can't figured out how to work the mod. It shows up in my scrip mods. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I figured out how to get them into my game with extracting. But after you do that is there more you have to do and if so how and what do I have to do?
The mod doesn't do anything until you tell it to. It is very well behaved :)
To confirm the mod is working in your game, select any computer or sim and you should see the MC Command Center Item.
Have a look at the options available on sims and on the computer. You are perfectly safe looking at these. You will always be asked if you would like confirm any changes.
Anything you don't understand, come back here and ask :)
Well, from what I understand it - that is not entirely true. The creator wrote in the modthesims-thread that when you have installed the mod the default settings are to manage marriage and pregnancies. All else is finetuning. But I may have misunderstood?
Another way to check if things are running properly is to bring up the command - window (Ctrl -Shift - C) and type mc_help. That will bring up a help paragraph if the mod is working correctly.
Also, something I have found multi-useful is to turn on notification. Both in in-game and as a log file. Will show you what happens in game at the same time it happens basicly! Both can be turned on via the computor in-game
Ah, thanks for pointing that out. Must have gone under my radar. I have used the mod from a few versions back and the earlier ones didn't do anything, but that may have changed with the later releases.
