New Year New Hustle Triggers Early

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.82.99.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Courtyard Oasis kit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Attempt to complete the New Year New Hustle scenario
What happens when the bug occurs? Scenario triggers when my Sim reached level 3 of the Tech Guru career, disregarding the amount of cash.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the scenario trigger when my Sim accumulates 25K in cash
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

    I'm fairly certain this is by design?

    The scenario has two potential outcomes that will end the scenario; one outcome being having $25k and reaching level 5 of a skill, the other outcome being reaching level 3 of a career.

    Hello, before attempting this scenario, I removed all mods that affected income.  I have no mods that affect careers.  I wanted to see how long it would take the Sim to achieve 25K in the Tech Guru career and doing hacking on the computer.  The scenario triggered after the Sim reached level 3 in the career, ignoring the fact the Sim only had about 5K in cash, and was living in the smallest cheapest trailer in Strangerville.  thank you.
