Alaska5562 It doesn't matter what you rename your Mods folder to! Just make it something different so the game makes a new empty one.
The reason I told not to use "Save" before you exit when testing is so that none of your mod-related or CC-related changes in your save get deleted from it.
You DO have to do this test to find out if your problem is with mods. You can also look at the pinned Broken and Updated Mods and CC thread for mods to delete because they're broken or to get the updated version of.
I stop using save when testing but now when everything is fixed and I play the new game restarted the game isn’t saving too.
