no other place option for events

Question

When planning a social event I dont have the option to take the party off lot, for example to the park or bowling alley.

Here's what I did:

>The household has 7 people

>I plan the event with the phone

>I invited the household

>Selected the host and hired all the roles

>When I get to the location screen my only option is the household lot

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a reason why I don't have more options?

I do not and have never used CC or Mods in Sims 4.

I’ve been having the same problem. Makes the party animal aspiration difficult.

solution: manage worlds > build on a community lot and delete a required item

I figured this out accidentally, but once i edited the community lots, they showed up as options for parties.

glitchy; but it worked for me!
