No sentiment menu

The Sims 4: Snowy Escapes introduced the 'sentiment' panel where you can see what sims think of your sim. For me, that panel doesn't exist. Instead of the panel I see a  "mc command centre" tab and a 'wicked' (from ) tab. I have no clue how to fix this but I do really want to use the sentiments again. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

@brittrensen   Oh, okay.  First, I suggest updating all your mods to the most recent version.  Then, if you have any UI and/or Trait mods, test the game without those.  If you're still having trouble, then try taking out all mods / CC and test.

Whenever you're taking mods / CC out, it's also a good idea to delete the localthumbcache.package file located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder before opening the game for testing.

If you have a lot of mods, then try these steps.

    1. Divide your mods/CC in half and put one half back into the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 / Mods folder (maybe make another folder on your desktop to help keep tested mods separated).

    2. Delete the localthumbcache.package file again, before opening the game with the half you're testing,

    3. If the game works with that half, test with the other half. (Again, delete that cache file before opening)

    4. Once you know which half is causing the issue, divide those in half and test again (delete the cache file again).

    5. Repeat the process until you find the culprit.

  • @brittrensen    Hello!  From your image, it looks like your sim doesn't have any relationship with Eliza; there's no green in the friendship bar.  Are you certain your sim should have sentiments toward her?  In order to get the "sim profile" option that shows sentiments, your sim will need to build friendship and/or romance relationship.

  • Hi, thank you for answering! Although I don't have the best relationship with Bob and Eliza, I do know for a fact that I have some sentiments towards Bob. I can see the sentiments pop up on the top of the screen when you click the little book. Yet when I press his icon in the bottom right, no menu pops up for me still. There is a big chance that it is one of my mods intervering with the way the game works, but I wouldn't know which one.

  • Thank you very much! I found the problem. It was a pregnancy belly overhaul mod that has been in my game for years which I doubt ever even worked at all. Now with that gone, my game finally functions again. Thanks again!
