no sims 4 mod folder

Hello!

I've had the Sims 4 for a few years now on my mac computer, but as the computer is now basically dead, I decided to switch to a new device. (Specifically, an ASUS Vivobook 12/15/17.) After downloading the EA app onto my desktop, I went to go download some mods into my game. (I had already opened sims and allowed mods at this point.) When I went to find them, I noticed three larger problems.

1. My EA folder is not in my documents. I've looked everywhere but the only way I can find it is via search.

2. When I open my EA folder, the sims 4 is not in it. I clicked through all of the folders and couldn't find it anywhere. The only way I can access my Sims 4 folder is searching.

3. My Sims 4 folder is weird?? Lots of people were saying they have 2 but I have only one, and the only folders in it are as follows: "ChromaAnimations", "Core", "Python", "res". (In that order.) Again, I clicked through all of these and found no mods folders.
