No skin overlays work

Question

Skin overlay does not work (neither default overlays nor ones I add to my sim using skin detail). I have tried basically everything now.

Resetting the cache, resetting my sims files by removing everything from the Electronic Arts folder then adding nothing but the skin overlay cc in. I have also tried several other overlays. It doesn't work and it makes no sense - I have many other mods that work just fine. I have also verified my file integrity through steam.

If there's anything else I can try that I haven't mentioned doing yet, please let me know. Cheers!

@0c4598b0a907cca2 Try testing in a "clean" user folder:

Drag/move your whole Sims 4 folder from Document &gt; Electronic Arts to your desktop. (Later, you'll add back most of this content, including UserSetting.ini)
Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options, including permitting CC.
Exit
Redownload one CC skin. Make sure it's a recent file and not listed anywhere in Broken/Updated Mods &amp; CC as broken.
Install this in your newly created Mods folder
Launch Sims 4 and test in a new save.

Let me know if this works. If it doesn't, please let me know what skin you were testing.

Hello, I tried this and it sadly didn't work. Here is the mod I am using, I couldn't find it in the linked list, and my friend managed to get this to work on her own Sims 4 a month or two ago, so I doubt it is outdated.

@0c4598b0a907cca2 It says on that page that the skin is no longer supported. Time to get new CC.
