Not able to click on objects or sims or options sims 4

I've been unable to click on any objects, sims or anything. Travel, phone and build mode still works. I've used the ORGIN REPAIR thing, and restarted my computer TWICE. (Windows 10, Asus laptop.) ...

I tried removing mods folder, repairing the game, deleting the localthumb..(cannot remember the name), or even re-installing the game.
None of the above worked for me

I also tried turning off in-game overlay but it's still not working

Somebody help!

      @momotaro818 Awesome! Next, copy your old save files out of the old folder into the new one the game made, and try loading.
