As others have said, it's not a bug. The tooltip is just confusing, but it works the same way as the other upgrades in the game. The tooltip is telling you how many parts you're missing. So if it says 2 parts, you're still missing 2 parts.

@janyses Thing is, it doesn't always tell you. Sometimes it says as in the picture, 2 Eco-upgrade Parts (missing), sometimes it will just say "You do not have enough eco parts" and won't tell you how many more you need.

Can one of you post a screenshot of the tooltip that doesn't tell you how many parts are needed? That sounds like a slightly different problem.

@PsychotpsAhh, I see. It appears that this information is missing from the recycler only, so this must be an oversight. I checked the other upgradeable items and couldn't find any others. Five eco parts are needed, by the way.
@latrese2Is the recycler the object you're having trouble upgrading? And if so, have you tried with at least 5 eco parts in inventory?
